As most of you out there, I’m a person who constantly browses the web for interesting readings or research or whatever other purpose. I’ve though many times about what I’m going to say but today it somehow struck me. There are millions of sites out there that just do not care about how they look. At least this is how I explain it to myself, I don’t wanna think that their designers are so dumb. So here I will provide you with a list of sites that look awful to me and I would never use them, unless they happen to provide priceless content at some point. I may even make this a series and post such ugly links periodically. Today’s winners are:

Sometimes I get tired from looking at the boring GUI of WinXp and I decided to do something last week. I found this tool called ObjectDock that sticks to the edge of your desktop and provides a little more interactive navigation through your icons. You can get more info at the product’s page:

This is my first post in the blog and I wonder what to start with. Well, let me share some links to the blogs that I read. These are mainly focused on software development, but this is just me, so they might not be interesting to some of you.
Joel On Software – The blog of Joel Spolsky, ex-Microsoft employee, currently running his own software company called FogCreek Software. He mostly blogs about IT management.
Scott Guthrie’s Blog – Scott Guthrie works for Microsoft, running the teams that develop IIS, ASP.NET, Atlas, CLR, Compact Framework, Windows Forms, Commerce Server, Visual Web Developer 2005 and Visual Studio Tools for WPF). A great source of info about the newest MS products.
Scott Hanselman’s Computer Zen – Scott Hanselman was a Chief Architect at Corillian Corporation, but recently moved to Microsoft. He, too blogs about MS technologies, but has more general posts about software development as well.
Until I haven’t written anything useful here (which I promise I will), read the above and have fun.
